An early photo of the lane beside the house. Dutch barn side aisle at the back. The little building behind the house is the loom house. The loom house was built in the late 19Th century to start a rag rug business. Mrs. Peter Elmendorf was the proprietor. Note the sign on corner of the house. The 18Th century looms were used from the house for the business. The young lady on the left is Ethel Elmendorf.
